Why give to NCJW Sacramento?

Our advocacy, education, and community service activities have earned us the reputation of “the little Section that could – and does – make a difference”. We are committed to keeping expenses to a minimum, however, we have ongoing costs to keep the section operating, including administrative and tech support, insurance, website expenses, and bulletin printing and mailing. Please help us continue our important work by making a donation today! Learn about some of our accomplishments in 2021 and what’s in store for 2022!

Planned Giving and Estate Planning
To ensure that the work of NCJW Sacramento will continue, you can add your legacy to ours by giving through a will, retirement plan, or charitable gift annuity. The Jewish Community Foundation of the West (JCFW) has a program called Life and Legacy. Available to all, it promotes after-lifetime giving to benefit local Jewish organizations. You can leave NCJW a legacy gift by filling out a formal Letter of Intent through the JCFW.

To promote charitable giving, many companies match their employees’ contributions to nonprofit organizations. If your company offers this benefit, your contribution doubles your support. Please inquire with your employer to see if they offer this benefit.

A financial endowment is a transfer of money, stock, or property donated to NCJW Sacramento to be invested, while the principal remains intact in perpetuity. This enables your contribution to have a much greater impact over a long period of time.
