Vote Forward

A major effort was underway in some states and localities to discourage voter turnout for the November 2020 election. In response to this threat, NCJW California joined with activists across the U.S. on a voter turnout project called “Vote Forward.” NCJW Sacramento signed up for this statewide NCJW effort. The purpose of the campaign is to write personalized letters to voters in underrepresented communities, who don’t always make it to the polls, urging them to vote. Sacramento section members and volunteers wrote 11,000 letters to underrepresented voters to get out  the vote during our “Vote Forward” project.
