Rosh Chodesh: Celebrating the month of Tishrei and the harvest festival of Sukkot
Twenty women gathered at the home of Claire Lipschultz to celebrate the month of Tishrei and the harvest festival of Sukkot. Laughter, joyful moments and delicious food were in abundance as we enjoyed a beautiful fall evening outdoors. Facilitated by Eleanor Mitchell and Beryl Michaels, our small group discussions focused on the harvest theme as seen through the lens of our own lives. What have we sown; what has grown, what’s next? What are our thoughts about this journey through aging.
Many thanks to Congregation B’nai Israel for the lulav and etrog.
Rosh Chodesh NCJW Sacramento style is celebrated the first Wednesday of every other month. Please contact Davita Levin-Robinson for additional information.
