Bridge to Success Grants Awards to Women’s Empowerment Graduates

The Bridge to Success (BTS) committee made three awards to graduates of Women’s Empowerment (WE) in September 2025.

The committee awarded $509.62 to a graduate from a few years ago who needed help with an overdue tax bill. She lost her job in August, was working hard to find new employment, and couldn’t afford to pay her tax bill.

A recent graduate facing childcare problems requested $193.96 to fund a laptop, a mouse, and a laptop sleeve so she can pursue online education. BTS funded her request.

BTS also funded a WE graduate who is currently living in Trellis Gardens with her two children. She was under acute stress because her expenses were increasing and she needed to pay her car registration, parking ticket, and past cell phone bill. BTS provided her with $1160.30. This will enable her to get her children to school; to get herself to work and school; and improve her credit rating so she can apply for permanent housing.

Thank you for your generous donations to the BTS Program. Please remember us when you make year-end donations to your favorite causes.
