Kosher for Passover Chocolates
Chocolate is back- just in time for Passover!
The products offered through Equal Exchange’s Kosher for Passover program have received approval as “Kosher for Passover” by Rabbi Aaron Alexander, former Associate Dean, Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the American Jewish University.
Please consider gifts of Fair trade Chocolate for friends and family at Passover. Also consider placing some chocolate on your seder plate- to represent Freedom From Slavery. Equal Exchange Chocolate is made from cocoa beans grown and harvested without the use of slave labor. In some countries, children are forced to work in the cocoa fields, as their hands can more easily pick the tiny berries .
This year we have ordered two Passover chocolate boxes, comprised of eight bars of chocolate of seven varieties, each for $32, a lovely gift.
We have:
- Dark chocolate bars with almonds, with orange, with ginger and lemon. plain dark chocolate and Panama extra dark, all kosher for Passover and dark chocolate with caramel crunch. Bars are $4 each and 3 for $11.
- Cans of cocoa for $6.50 each
- Mini dark chocolates which would be lovely on a seder plate, at each place setting, or as gifts for children. Cost is multiples of 10 for $3.
Happy Pesach! Please contact Naomi Rice for questions and to arrange for pick-up or delivery.
