Join the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) and Kashenberg Ostrow Hayward Library and Cultural Center (KOH) for the third installment of the Wise Aging and End of Life Planning series.

End-of-life planning encompasses various steps, including creating wills and trusts, establishing financial power of attorney, and establishing healthcare directives.

A healthcare directive ensures that your healthcare preferences are respected, even if you are unable to communicate them yourself. This involves designating a trusted individual to act as your agent and ensure your wishes are carried out as you would like.

Our speakers will engage in Q&A sessions to minimize confusion, avoid mistakes, and offer tips on how to talk to yourself, your doctor, family, and friends about this important step.

For 18 years and older
Having a healthcare directive and choosing an agent is crucial for everyone 18 or older. Young people, too, are vulnerable and can significantly benefit from having these plans in place. Invite friends and family of all ages to learn more and take this important step in securing their healthcare future!
