Barbara Gillogly, Ph.D., CPG, LMFT

  • Has taught in the field of gerontology at UCD, ARC & CSUS
  • Private practice working with older adults and their families

Meg McClaskey, PhD

  • Chaplain Meg McClaskey is the Chaplain and Bereavement Counselor at UC Davis Hospice.
  • Her PhD studies were in Medical Ethics with a specialty in Jewish Medical Ethics.
  • Meg has journeyed with many patients and families in the development of Advance Care Directives, decisions around completing Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) forms and through difficult end-of-life decision making that are compatible with their beliefs and values.
  • She has supported patients and families through decisions using Medical Aid in Dying and provided compassionate presence during the process.
