January 28

ReproShabbat – Sacramento Area

7:00 pm — 8:00 pm

Please see event description for location and times.

Congregation B’nai Israel and Congregation Beth Shalom will be joining many other congregations in communities around the nation in participation of National Council of Jewish Women’s Repro Shabbat! Parshat Mishpatim is the original source text for why Judaism permits and sometimes requires abortion. We’ll be exploring these themes and what’s at stake currently in our country. Now more than ever it’s crucial that we talk openly about bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom.

NCJW Sacramento board members will deliver drashes on the importance of reproductive freedom during Shabbat Services on January 28th.
