• You’ll be able to sign up for activities as we announce actions our section will take this year to support women and children, immigrants and our homeless neighbors in addition to protecting voting rights.
• Our Mitzvah in a Minute (MIM) will benefit Leataata Floyd Elementary. Please bring gift cards from Target or Amazon, or cash. We’ll be filling teachers’ wish lists for school and art supplies.
• Sweet and savory snacks will be provided.

We are excited to announce that Assemblywoman Maggy Krell will speak at our Opening Meeting. She will share her perspective about the current crises in immigration, reproductive rights and attacks on democratic institutions and universities. Prior to her current position as an Assemblywoman, Maggy served as a California Deputy Attorney General and Chief Legal Counsel for Planned Parenthood. She also worked as a pro bono lawyer at our southern border, reuniting women and children immigrants separated by the federal government.
