Chocolate Fest: Become a Vendor

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Sacramento Section is hosting our inaugural Chocolate Fest, a fundraiser benefiting Women’s Empowerment graduates, on Sunday, June 25th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the Milagro Event Center in Downtown Carmichael. Women’s Empowerment, a local non-profit, educates and empowers women who are experiencing homelessness with the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children. NCJW grants help WE graduates achieve independence by funding everything from transportation and housing to dental care, education, and career licensure.

We are seeking bakeries, patisseries, and other businesses to participate by providing chocolate treats and other culinary delights for the 150 attendees to sample. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business.

The Chocolate Fest also will feature an entertaining talk by Elaine Corn, legendary food editor and author, who will share her research on the fascinating benefits of chocolate. Recent Women’s Empowerment graduates also will share how the NCJW grants have changed their lives.

Your business will be provided with a separate table to display and serve your small tastes. Table signage will be provided; please feel free to supply promotional materials, menus, and coupons. business will also be acknowledged during the event as well as on the event website. We can also provide volunteer servers if you desire.

In addition to your individual treats, we ask that you provide your signature dessert for the dessert auction, during which time we will highlight your business.

Complete the Chocolate Fest Vendor form if you are interested in becoming a vendor for our inaugural Chocolate Fest.

Thanks in advance for participating in the Chocolate Fest to support this important cause — helping women move beyond poverty to build the bright future they imagine for themselves and their children.
