Vote Forward volunteers drop off 11,000 letters at the Post Office

“On October 17th, the NCJW Vote Forward team leaders and I trudged to my  local post office with close to 7,000 letters,” said NCJW Sacramento board member, Barbara Baran. “I got in line to get trays to put the letters in and when the postal worker brought them out to me, a woman behind me asked, “Are those Vote Forward letters? I have a box of them too!”  And then another guy in line said, “Me too!” As we were filling the trays outside, two more folks came up with letters. And people in line were cheering us on.  It was an amazing and wonderful scene.” NCJW Sacramento Vote Forward letter writers put another 4000 letters in the mail.
