Examining the Evolving Landscape of First Amendment Protections
NCJW Sacramento’s most recent Speaker Series on April 12th featured a diverse panel of experts who gathered to examine the evolving landscape of First Amendment protections. The panel debated the tension between safeguarding free speech and addressing the rise of misinformation, hate speech and violent protests. Throughout the discussion, our experts emphasized that while the US Constitution provides a broad shield, its application continues to face new challenges. Many thanks to our moderator, Professor Leslie Gielow Jacobs, and our panelists: Peter Coyl, Chris Fusco and Ellen Savage. Visit the Events page of NCJW Sacramento for upcoming Speaker Series events.
