NCJW Sacramento and Women’s Empowerment Community Partnership

Our community service projects are turning progressive ideals and Jewish values into action at the local level. Based on teamwork and community partnerships, our projects focus on improving the lives of local families.

In partnership with Women’s Empowerment and Trellis Gardens, their new transitional housing project, we are addressing hunger and homelessness directly.

VEGETABLE GARDEN at Trellis Gardens

The vegetables are growing, as is the involvement of the families, thanks to co-chairs Evelyn Margolin and Becky Goad. Contact Becky Goad to assist with gardening activities.
