Games, gab and a good time were all on tap for an NCJW Sacramento FUNdraiser held on Sunday January 26th. A full house of about 80 NCJW members and guests attended, and by all accounts, the event was a terrific success as a way to both foster organizational cohesion and keep our coffers replenished to fund our important social action activities.
A huge shout-out to all those who put together this event and to Thompson Masonry Design Center for allowing us to use their lovely and spacious showroom. We are also grateful to Mendocino Farms for providing discounted prices for the boxed lunches that fueled the 13 tables of “Mahj” players and others who exercised their brain cells at Canasta, Trivial Pursuit, Cards Against Humanity, Scrabble and Apples to Apples.
Special thanks to committee chair Eileen Jacobowitz in addition to the rest of the committee for their creativity and teamwork. Photos and more details about the event will be included in the next NCJW Sacramento Bulletin.
