Write with us to protect abortion access!

Ohio is ground zero in the fight to protect abortion access as voters decide the outcome of a state constitutional amendment to protect abortion. We helped pass a similar amendment in California last year.

We will be writing postcards to Ohio voters urging a YES vote on an amendment to enshrine abortion protections in their state constitution. Contact Barbara Baran in East Sacramento or Claire Lipschultz in Carmichael to pick up blank postcards or use your own. You will receive addresses, the script and instructions when you sign up for a minimum of five names at https://www.activateamerica.vote/postcards and choose the Ohio Get Out the Vote campaign. Messages are non-partisan and solely issue based. Cards must be in the mail by October 28, 2023.

Don’t let the cost of postcard stamps keep you from writing as many postcards as you can. Our Section is creating a fund to help defray stamp costs.
