How Sweet It Was: Our Chocolate Fest Fundraiser Was A Great Success!
WOW- our Chocolate Fest was a great success! A big thank you to everyone who attended, planned, recruited delicious food vendors and generous sponsors, contributed to, and promoted this amazing event.
Professionalism, resiliency and fabulous teamwork were on display, all around us. Elaine Corn provided an engaging, informative and funny speech and received a standing ovation for her tenacity and spirit. The Women’s Empowerment (WE) team and graduates spoke eloquently and sincerely about why our support of WE and the Bridge to Success mini-grant program is so important. Our President and MC, Eileen Jacobowitz, kept the program moving amid the bounty of food and drink and the joyful connections between friends.
It was a tasty, engaging, heart-felt, and inspiring, experience – from concept to implementation…even better than we imagined. Please share your photos, comments, ideas and feedback with us – it would be great to hear from our community.
Finally, please patronize the vendors and the sponsors who supported this event. The food and beverage samples were plentiful and delicious. We discovered new sources for culinary delights and the Milagro Event Center was beautiful and a generous host. Our financial sponsors really helped make the fundraiser possible and successful. Please connect with these generous businesses and individuals and tell them NCJW Sacramento sent you.
Following the Chocolate Fest, Elaine Corn will continue to donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale of her first book, “Gooey Desserts: The Joy of Decadence” to NCJW Sacramento.
