Join us to learn more about Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Sacramento County.
CASA’s mission is to ensure consistency and support for children in the foster care system through the use of volunteer advocates advancing the best interests of each child.

CASA Sacramento team members, including NCJW member and CASA  volunteer, Barbara Kronick, will offer the facts, feelings and findings of why CASA, and other volunteers, are so needed in our community. Watch Barbara share her inspiring story:

Many children spend years in foster care and are at high risk for emotional, physical, behavioral and learning problems. This often leads to inadequate housing, low educational and career attainment, early parenthood, substance abuse, health problems, and involvement with the criminal justice system.

Increased efforts are needed to break the cycle and provide these children with the support, skills and resources needed for a more positive and productive life.

Although not everyone will choose to become a trained CASA volunteer, this presentation will inform, inspire and present many opportunities to help.
