March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Many of us feel, at best, disconnected from our friends and family with different political perspectives and, at worst, disillusioned, hurt, and angry about their politics. How can we cross the political divide to minimize divisiveness and have meaningful conversation?
Join NCJW Sacramento on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 for Courageous Conversations
RSVP to Eileen at: email@example.com by March 16th. Address will be
provided upon RSVP.
The session will be part conversation, part skill building, and will be facilitated by NCJW member Eileen Jacobowitz. Eileen recently participated in NCJW’s Courageous Conversations pilot, a national training program for NCJW members on how to engage in thoughtful conversations with those with whom we disagree.
- Discuss how political discord has impacted our relationships with friends, family, and co-workers;
- Explore how shared Jewish values can be a bridge to overcoming discord and divisiveness;
- Describe the Courageous Conversations process and equip you with tips for having healthy conversations across lines of disagreement.
